Faith Leaders and Climate Scientists in Conversation – Dec 8 event

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is an organization you should be familiar with. With the tag line “We use science to make change happen” their website is packed with useful information.

And… they are hosting an online (aren’t they all?) conversation with a number of prominent faith leaders next week (8 December) at 7 pm Eastern (USA) time (8 December 0:00 UTC). This will be “a virtual discussion about how traditions can inform advocacy and action in response to climate change and racial justice.” and will be hosted by Ken Kimmell, UCS President, and Rev. Canon Sally Bingham, UCS National Advisory Board and founder of Interfaith Power and Light. The speakers list includes representatives from Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and Christianity.
