The Lausanne/WEA Global Campaign for Creation Care and the Gospel is about to resume!
This campaign has been running since November 2012 – almost 10 years! – and has had 10 regional conferences reaching people from 140 countries. When the pandemic shut the world down two years ago, two final conferences were being planned and we are very pleased to announce that these two conferences, for Eastern Europe and The Middle East and North Africa, will be held this year.
Here are the details for the Eastern European conference which will be held in Osijek Croatia 23-25 June:
God’s Good Earth needs God’s Good People to be God’s Good Stewards.
As Christians concerned about the natural environment, climate change, biodiversity loss, and the implications that all these have on our lives we are gathering for three days of fellowship and talks to make plans for action in Central and Eastern Europe.
Hosted by the Evangelical School of Theology (Osijek, Croatia) and co-sponsored by Resonate Global Mission, Care of Creation, A Rocha International, the European Evangelical Alliance, and the Sustainability Center of the World Evangelical Alliance, in conjunction with the Lausanne/World Evangelical Alliance Creation Care Network, we welcome you to the Hope for People and Nature: Care of Creation Conference in Central and Eastern Europe.
Join us to learn, fellowship, and connect with other Christians during our time together around our call to be God’s Good Stewards.
Information and registration are here. There is some scholarship help available – information is on the registration page.
